Today: Writing the CV again- for the millionth time, I hate it.
Plans: Crepes at Brunswick Street tonight with writer friend to look forward to. Also looking for casual work before graduation because the money is starting to run out fast. I am not into budget-living. Want to part-time at the fantasy& sci fi bookstore, know they are hiring. But they are only looking for fans and I know peripheral nuts. Pity. I like fantasy & sci fi geeks. They are really interesting people.
The weather: Cold. Feet-cold cold. Not windy-cold or drizzly-cold. Not too bad I guess. I shifted the birdtreat of seeds and nuts to the porch in hope that the birds will come. They are still not coming. Too cold.
Just ate: Tamirillos on toast. HAH! I bet you don’t know what they are. I found them at Queen Victoria Market. As mysterious as custard apples. Tamirillos are kind of like a cross between prunes, cherry tomatoes and.. peaches? Sour and tangy. I had them blanched, peeled (the skin comes off easily like a ripe pear) and left them to stand in some brown sugar- then chilled. Had them on multigrain toast. Not too bad. Need more sugar. Which I am in no shortage of actually- also finished half the truffles I made yesterday. SHIT.
Feeling: A bit embarrassed (as always) with the self for feeling moody last night. Melodramatic moods come with watching too many movies and sappy Japanese dramas.
which brings me to…
Just watched: Oooh. Proposal Daisakusen. Japanese shoju drama starring Yamapiiii.
Just thought: Thursday. Again and already. Five more weeks of Melbourne. While stocks last.
